The stage of defeat for Bangladesh already prepared. With that came the fear of innings rate. That fear, however, averted  Nurul Hasan Sohan’s combative batting.

However, the West Indies did not get any momentum to pick up an easy win against Shakib Al Hasan & Co.

The West Indies beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the second and final Test of the series in St. Lucia.

Earlier, Craig Brathwaite’s team won the first match in white by 6 wickets. That’s why Russell Domingo’s disciples started the Caribbean mission.

This is Bangladesh’s 100th defeat in Tests. Kyle Meyers won the Best Match and Series award.

West Indies were leading by 164 runs at the end of the first innings. Bangladesh could not get out of the trend of failure by batting in the last innings.

Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Liton Kumar Das, Enamul Haque Vijay or Shakib Al Hasan – everyone disappointed with the bat.

Nazmul Hossain Shant was just a little different in the top order.

The Rajshahi cricketer scored 42 runs before making his way to the toilet as the fifth batsman. Sohan scored maximum 60 runs for the team.

Fifty picked up 40 balls with a stormy bat. Even then the visitors could not score more than 16 runs.

Sohan remained undefeated at one end due to lack of qualified team.

The visitors got a lead of 12 runs. The hosts reached the target after playing only 16 balls.

Brathwaite and John Campbell scored 4 and 9 runs respectively.

After losing the toss, Bangladesh batted first and were all out for 234 in the first innings. West Indies  bowled out for 408 in reply of Bangladeshi Tigers.🔱
