A grumbling was documented against him for ‘harming the opinions of Hindus’
Ratan Lal, an academic partner at Delhi University, was captured on Friday night over a supposedly shocking online entertainment post on the shivling professed to be found at Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque, PTI announced.
Lal, a teacher of history, was set up for Wednesday based on a protest documented by a Supreme Court attorney named Vineet Jindal.
On Friday, Lal was called by the police for addressing and later captured, The Indian Express detailed.
