Federer-Nadal-Djokovic in one team in Laver Cup

Novak Djokovic is not playing in the US Open due to not getting the coronavirus vaccination. But the Serbian star is not prevented from playing in the Laver Cup. He will play in this year’s Laver Cup. Djokovic has already announced that he will play for Team Europe with Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray.
This will be the first time that Djokovic, Nadal, Federer and Murray will play as teammates in a tennis team event. Bjorn Borg will lead these four superstars in Team Europe.

Of the last 76 Grand Slam tournaments, Nadal, Djokovic, Federer and Murray have won 66 titles together. And team captain Borg has won 11 Grand Slam titles in his career. All in all, Team Europe can be called a team of 77 Grand Slam this time.

Djokovic, who is going to play Laver for the second time after 2018, said about being a teammate of Nadal, Federer and Murray, ‘I am really excited about playing for Team Europe in London and Two Arena next September.’

Djokovic, winner of 21 Grand Slams, then added, ‘The Lever Cup is the only tournament where you get all the fierce rivals, all the Big Three playing in one team. It’s certainly exciting for our players. It is also exciting for world-class tennis lovers.

I look forward to the moment. With Rafa, Roger, Andy and Novak, our chances increased a lot.
