New army installations in western Russia in light of Nato development

‘Before the year’s over, 12 military units and divisions will be laid out in the Western Military District,’

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Friday that Moscow would make new army installations in western Russia in light of the development of Nato.

“Before the year’s over, 12 military units and divisions will be laid out in the Western Military District,” Shoigu said at a gathering in broadcast comments.

The military hopes to get multiple thousand units of military gear and weapons, Shoigu added.
