The one-time admirer of a killed Queens mother admitted to the grim killing where the casualty was cut in excess of multiple times inside her home after a warmed contention swelled into a fierce manslaughter, police said Thursday.
Jack of all trades David Bonola, 44, of South Ozone Park, is accused of homicide, criminal altering and criminal ownership of a weapon in the savage assault on Orsolya Gaal some time before her body was found last Saturday — stuffed inside a gym bag, hauled from her home and unloaded at a close by park.
Bonola was captured Wednesday night when police, subsequent to visiting his home around 10:45 p.m., spotted him in the city with gauzes folded over his hand, as indicated by a source.
The suspect recognized his sentiment with the wedded mother of two adolescent young men and conceded after his acquiescence to contending with the casualty prior to killing her, sources said. He has no earlier criminal history, police sources said.
Agents immediately became zeroed in on Bonola, who met Gaal while filling in as a jack of all trades at the family’s tony Tudor home, knew where to observe the house key and utilized it to slip inside before the destructive showdown, as per ABC News.
In past Facebook posts, Bonola offered praises in Spanish about the light haired casualty.
“The most wonderful lady,” read one message from two a long time back, while a later post from Mother’s Day 2021 remarked on her “eyes in adoration.”
The previous message highlighted am emoticon of Guatemala’s banner just a short time after Gaal’s post announcing she adores “everything Guatemalan” and about a year after photographs showed she made her own excursion to the country in Central America.
Gaal, 51, evidently set up a battle when gone up against by the persistent executioner after she showed up at her Forest Hills home from a night out with companions in Manhattan, with specialists observing protective injuries on her hands among the many wounds caused for her, authorities said.
