Tevez declares retirement

Previous Argentina striker Carlos Tevez affirmed late on Friday that he has resigned from proficient football, one year in the wake of leaving Buenos Aires club Boca Juniors refering to burnout.

The 38-year-old said on public TV show in Argentina that he would never again play expertly.

Known as ‘El Apache’, Tevez started his vocation at Boca and had fruitful spells with Corinthians.
He moved to England in 2006, where he played for Premier League sides West Ham United, Manchester United and Manchester City, prior to moving to Italy to join Juventus.

Tevez had two additional stretches with his old neighborhood club Boca on one or the other side of a spell with Chinese Super League group Shanghai Shenhua.

He showed up for the Argentine public side and won an Olympic gold decoration at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
