Who is close to West Bengal minister Parth

Arpita Mukherjee is a close associate of India’s West Bengal Industries and Commerce Minister Partha Chatterjee. Arpita was arrested by the ED last Friday on charges of involvement in corruption in the recruitment of school teachers in West Bengal. Parth was arrested the following day, Saturday.

Arpita was active in the Bengali and Odissi film industry from 2008 to 2014. She was also a model.

Arpita is a child of a middle-class family in Belgharia, a northern suburb of Kolkata.

After her father’s death, Arpita married a businessman in Jhargram district of the state. Later, as Arpita returned to Kolkata, not much is known about her marital relationship.

In 2009, he acted in the film ‘Mama-Bhagane’ with Prosenjit Chatterjee.

Partha was the main patron of the Naktala Udayan Sangh.

Parth is the general secretary of the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. He was earlier in charge of the Education Minister of the state.

It is alleged against Parth that while he was the education minister, he and his associates illegally appointed teachers on bribes.

According to the ED, they conducted search operations at several places based on the investigation of corruption in the recruitment of teachers in West Bengal Primary Education Council and West Bengal School Service Commission. A huge amount of money was seized in the raid.

Arpita claimed her innocence when she was arrested. He said, it is a conspiracy of BJP.
